Pastor David Armstrong
DIRECTOR
David Armstrong has served as an associate pastor of Northside Baptist Church in Northglenn, Colorado for fifteen years. He answered God’s call to the ministry after eight years in the United States Marine Corps. He holds Master of Divinity, Doctor of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry degrees. In June of 2015, God began to speak to his heart about the need for a ministry in which Colorado Baptists connected with, and prayed for their elected officials.
With the blessing of his senior pastor, Dr. Richard Robinson, Pastor Armstrong started the Colorado Capitol Connection with the guidance of Pastors Brad Cranston and Mike Creed. Pastor Armstrong has a deep desire to see God work in the State of Colorado and in our nation. He and his family live in Thornton, Colorado.
Pastor Jason Walker
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Jason Walker is the co-pastor of the First Baptist Church of Westminster, Colorado. He has also served the Lord as a Missionary Church Planter and Chaplain to the Thornton Fire Department. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible, Master of Divinity, Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and a number of specialized certificates of training dealing with critical incident crises on an individual and group level.
Pastor Walker believes in expository preaching and verse-by-verse Bible teaching to find biblical answers to the most serious questions of life. He has a passion to see God glorified in our state and lead souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The Walkers have three children.
